It gets up my left nostril.
And believe me, no one wants that.
I know, it’s “cute” for us all to “be on the spectrum.” You may even think it’s helping “autism awareness” and making things easier for those “neurodivergent” people who are a little different.
AUTISM IS A DISABILITY. There, I said it. Anyone who is not disabled by autism should not use the word. Being “weird” is not autism.
Guess what? There’s a HUMAN SPECTRUM. Humans are not cookie-cutter samey-samey. No matter what society wants us, increasingly, to believe. There’s a broad spectrum of “normal.”
And hijacking a very real disability so that you can feel special in your weirdness? Nope. Don’t be that person. DO NOT DO IT.
